AFT support will allow SIPRA to introduce Ivorian poultry products to the global stage and contribute to improving the level of chicken consumption in Cote d'Ivoire.

SIPRA (Société Ivoirienne de Productions Animales) is the leading Ivorian poultry company founded in 1976 with aims to develop a modern poultry sector and contribute to food security in Côte d'Ivoire. SIPRA has a well-established expertise, focusing on three main activities, represented by three strong brands: IVOIRE POUSSIN (hatching and day-old chicks business), IVOGRAIN (animal food production business) and Coq IVOIRE (poultry and eggs production business). SIPRA is now looking to strengthen its position in order to be competitive at both regional and international level, while contributing to a significant increase in the Ivorian consumption of chicken and eggs by bringing it to international standards.

AFT support will allow SIPRA to implement a larger production site in the political capital of Cote d’Ivoire: Yamoussoukro. The newly-constructed site will be a production unit for poultry and livestock with a capacity of 30 T/h in flour and 30 T / h in granules. This unit will consist of a plant, storage silos and storage sheds. The grant is designed to finance the costs occurred for the implementation of technical feasibility, the development of the business plan and financial modeling of the project.
